Philadelphia Park Casino gains an edge
with Compudigm and Teradata


Philadelphia Park Casino, in Bensalem, Pa., is deploying a Teradata enterprise data warehouse with Compudigm International's Gaming POWER solution and seePOWER data visualization technology. The solution will help the casino win and sustain market share in the relatively new, yet ultra-competitive, Pennsylvania casino market.

Philadelphia Park Casino chose to implement Compudigm Gaming POWER to optimize its slot floor, analyze and manage customer behavior, develop marketing strategies, and provide new insight into the overall profitability of the business.

The casino will also implement seePOWER Active, a real-time solution leveraging Teradata's active data warehouse capabilities.

Bull Services selects Teradata Warehouse
for California's Medi-Cal program


Billerica, Mass.-based Bull Services has selected the Teradata Warehouse to implement a new advanced business intelligence (BI) solution to help more efficiently manage California's $37 billion Medicaid program (Medi-Cal) and improve healthcare services for millions of residents.

The Bull Services solution, running on a Teradata Warehouse, will help Medi-Cal better support its goal of managing medical services in a fiscally prudent manner through developing partnerships with providers and medical service organizations, and encouraging comprehensive, organized healthcare delivery systems.

BKK wins 2007 Best Practice Award for data warehousing and business intelligence

BKK Bundesverband, the German Federal Association of Company Health Insurance Funds, has won the prestigious 2007 Best Practice Award for a Teradata-based business intelligence (BI) platform it calls the "BKK InfoNet." Based in Essen, Germany, BKK is a large association of independent corporations that insures more than 14 million customers and comprises about 20% of the German healthcare insurance market.

The independent Business Application Research Center presents this award each year for the best German-language data warehousing and BI solution.
